OUR COMMUNITY
Words from one of our founding members...
What IAAP Has Done For Me
Self-confident was not really a word one would use to describe me prior to my joining IAAP. Over the years, these descriptive words became part of me as well as leadership skills--due, at times, to the lack of member participation--were strengthened through being forced into a leadership position. You have heard the more you do something, the better you become at it; and this is so true. There are so many other areas where IAAP played a part in strengthening my foundation when I thought I could not do something. This organization has been such an educational instrument since most of my employment has been with companies who do not support the training for an administrative professional. Becoming a part of my life for over 23 years, I thank God for my path crossing into the IAAP world. Today, I can mentor and support young members to accomplish or to strengthen certain skills through IAAP. If you are willing to spend some time as an investment in YOU and your career, IAAP is definitely a roadway to a better YOU!
