Celebrating Twenty-Five Years!

We had a wonderful time and hope you did too!

We're having a party! This is so special. Las Colinas IAAP has been a vital part of our community serving administrative professionals for twenty-five years. We are proud to invite charter members, past

presidents, international officers, friends, family and coworkers for our Silver Anniversary celebration.  Our speaker will have words of enthusiasm and encouragement for all ages. To commemorate our $20 dues level since "day one" we're offering a special $20 rate for this event. This includes the networking, dinner, speaker, and all the fun!

Office Professionals Summit

Congratulations to Taviatha James from Big D!  You've won the full registration to T-L and OPS.  Have a great time!!

LCC President's Message

If you haven't joined us this year, it's not too late!  Last week's IAAP
University was one of the best we've had.  Four great speakers,
great vendors, and most of all over 70 of your peers having a GREAT
time together.

If you missed IAAP University, here are two events you just can't miss.  The first event is our Silver Anniversary celebration!  This April, The Las Colinas Chapter of IAAP will be 25 years young, and we're celebrating in a BIG way.  Join us at our monthly chapter meeting on April 14 to take part in this celebrate with past and present members.  The monthly $26 fee has been reduced to $20 for members and non-members for this event.  And, as we're celebrating our chapter's existence, we will also honor OURSELVES in recognition of Administrative Professionals Week!

The next event is our annual division meeting May 15-18.  Once a year, IAAP chapters from Texas and Louisiana come together for a power-packed weekend of education and fun!  It's almost like a mini EFAM, our annual national educational forum.  This year it's right here in Addison at the Crowne Plaza.  Make plans now to attend.  Get together with a friend and share the cost of a hotel stay over the weekend!  Check out the information below for great tips on how to persuade your boss to support you! Benefits of Attending  We're getting big on social media so don't get left behind... Like us on Facebook, LinkedIn, and our website!

Thanks,

Shirl

LCC Wins Retention Award

Las Colinas chapter received an unexpected award.  Headquarters reports we are a top three "retainer" for chapters our size!  We won the Retention Recognition Award and a $50 check!  Translated, we are doing something right.  Members, you are the key to everything!  Please let us know what you like, expect, can contribute, and where we should be heading next year.  Wouldn't it be great to get this award two years, maybe three years in a row?

Special thanks to our wonderful membership chair Rita Backus CAP FMA for doing an awesome job year after year.
